Zomato Train Food Delivery Service Terms and Conditions
The Zomato train food ordering and delivery services is exclusively available to individuals who are bonafide rail passengers holding valid railway tickets with PNRs.
To place an order, customers are required to provide a valid PNR number through the Zomato platform. Zomato shall not be liable for any incomplete or failed deliveries if the PNR number provided by the customer is found to be incorrect.
Zomato shall make reasonable efforts to deliver orders to the customer's designated seat or berth on the train.
Orders may be placed up to 65 minutes before the scheduled arrival of the customer's train at the selected railway station.
In the event that a customer disembarks from the train at any station prior to the selected station on the train route, Zomato will not be held responsible for delivering the order at any other station or on any other train.
Customers are required to be present at the seat or berth as confirmed by their PNR during the period when the train is stationed at the selected railway station. Failure to be present at the specified seat or berth will result in a "No-Show", Zomato will not be liable for non-delivery. Under such circumstances, refunds will not be permissible.
No cancellation of orders will be permitted within 2 hours of the train's scheduled arrival time at the selected station. Orders can only be canceled prior to 2 hours of the scheduled arrival time of the train at the selected station. If an order is canceled within the permitted time frame, a complete refund of the order value will be processed.
In the event that the train or PNR for which the order is placed is canceled, the customer's order will be automatically canceled and Zomato will not be subject to issue any refund for such cancellation of orders.
If the scheduled arrival of the train is delayed and it reaches the station beyond the expected arrival time, Zomato will make necessary effort to deliver the order. However, it should be noted that the delivery of the order is not guaranteed.
The Gold on-time guarantee, if applicable, will not be in effect if the train is delayed from its scheduled arrival time. Zomato will not provide refunds in case of train delays.
Zomato will charge station convenience fees (exclusive of taxes) from the customer for the facilitation of deliveries to the seat or berth of the train.
When placing an order, customers are required to provide accurate and complete details, including the PNR number. By providing these details, customers express their acceptance of Zomato's terms and privacy policies.
